Pokemon Yellow

What have we here? It's Pikachu's own version of Pokémon! "What's so different," you ask? Well, the Pokémon themselves have been redrawn like the cartoon Pokémon and the story line has been altered a bit. That's about it. Don't buy it when it comes out this summer to be a totally new game, BUT for those of you who passed Pokémon up the first time around should really enjoy this game.
Since the game follows a little closer to the cartoon show, you may notice visuals like Team Rocket having been redrawn as Jessie and James. And Brock now wears his outfit in the show instead of battling without a shirt! Also, in Japan at least, there exists a special Pikachu Printer similar to the regualar Gameboy printer (see below) that allows you to print your Pokémon info and sticker whatnots. It might come packaged with a special version of Pokémon Pikachu, BUT don't get your hopes up. Most neat items like that (e.g. Gameboy Light) never make it to the states. But, Pokémon Pikachu WILL be Printer compatible.
